"Because I forgot... But I also forgot that I had promised to remember..." - Madame Svenska beginning her story

Madame Svenska is a supporting character in Remothered: Tormented Fathers and Remothered: Broken Porcelain.

She is an elderly woman who serves as the narrator of the main events as she unfolds the story to the journalist Mr Manni.

Early life[]

"Madame Svenska" is revealed to be a pen name used by Celeste Felton in her later life.

By 1992, she became a worldwide known writer and published another bestseller called The Keeper, dedicated to the memories of her loved ones, promising to never forget.

After living in Sweden for 30 years, she chose to come back to Italy.

Reuniting with Linn (2021)[]

Svenska and Rosemary

The childhood friends share a final day together.

She receives a phone call from Lindsay's caretaker asking to come visit her. After many years the two women finally reunited. She holds old woman's hand and, despite suffering from Alzheimer's disease, Linn manages to recognize Jen and smiles. Madame Svenska later reveals Lindsay passed away the following day.

Interview with Mr Manni (2022)[]

A year later she meets up with a journalist Giulio Manni, who is revealed to be the brother of one the missing girls who were mistaken for Celeste. She shares the truth of what had happened to his elder sister and passes Rosemary's journal to him, containing the information of all the 14 "other Jennifers". After finishing telling her whole story to him, Celeste/Svenska decides to continue remembering for the sake of Linn and all the people she lost to keep the memories of them alive.
